Simulation and Learning outcomes
At the end of the simulation students will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of compassionate contactcare.
Apply appropriate language and behaviour to support a patient experiencing acute stress.
Self-assess their own performance with regard to compassionate contact in relation to a stillbirth.

📁 Briefing | Before starting the XR simulation, the learner receives a briefing that they will be required to sit with Meera, a mother who delivered a stillborn daughter 24 hours ago. The learner will have access to the patient's medical history, but they will be informed that there is no need to perform a physical or mental health assessment. | 🧑🏫 Classroom ⏲️ 5 mins |
