Stacey Morris has been accepted as an emergency referral from her GP for assessment.  

The patient is a 32 year old mother of two with a four week old newborn. She has a history of post partum depression from her first child.  

The student must conduct an initial mental health examination on Stacey and secure an appropriate outcome for Stacey.

    At the start of the XR sim the student learner will listen to a voicemail from the Mental Health clinician outlining the scenario and what is required of them.

    Before starting the XR simulation, the learner must consent to taking part via this online form.

    The

    learner will then be given access to the Medical History for the patient, before starting the sim, but will also be able to access it within the sim

    Once the student has completed the Mental Health Assessment of Stacey they need to make a plan for her and discuss this with the Senior Clinician. Ideally securing a place for Stacey and baby Jack at the MBU
